Logging in the Olympic Peninsula

The Olympic Peninsula and Western Washington has a long rich history with logging.  Fir, cedar, alder and other species dominate.  Vast stretches of the lowland areas that circle the center national forest and federal park areas.  While the lumber industry isn’t what it was fifty years ago, it is still a major part of the economy.  I will be doing something extensive on this industry a little down the road.
