The Chehalis river is the southern border of the Olympic Peninsula. The main highway from civilization, Olympia, to the ocean beaches at the end. The Chehalis is a tidal river for many miles and the ebb and flow of the river with it’s mix of fresh and salt water attracts a diversity of wildlife.
Along with the scenic beauty, winter is also one of the stronger steelhead fishing seasons brings anglers from around the region to its waters.
I live on the banks of this river.
